An all-electric home gives you the opportunity to create your own renewable future. So when it comes to building or rehabbing a home with all-electric technology, we’re here to help you keep energy efficiency at the center of your plans.

A home designed to provide better air quality, lower maintenance costs, and sustained home value over time.

Through our program, you may qualify for rebates up to $17,750. And that’s just one of the
many benefits that will come with your new house:

  • Homes that meet the requirements of our program can use up to 25% less energy.

  • High-performance air source, ground source, or air-to-water heat pump technology
means you can heat and cool your home with no fossil fuels or combustion.

  • Super-insulated building envelopes to minimize heat loss, leaks, and drafts so you
and your family are more comfortable with lower energy bills.

Eversource makes it easy to take advantage of all the benefits of building a house with the latest all-
electric technologies. Our Home Energy Rating System (HERS) raters will review your plans, provide you with a HERS index score, and work with your architect/builder throughout the project. They’ll
also help you identify opportunities to qualify for additional rebates and certifications such
as ENERGY STAR®, Passive House, and more.

The process is simple, so get started today.

Step 1—Contact us while you’re in the early planning stages of your home and connect with a HERS rater.

Step 2—Submit your application before new construction starts. Your HERS rater will help.

Step 3—Build your new energy-efficient home.

Step 4—Receive your rebate and begin enjoying the savings.
