During a no-cost Home Energy SolutionsSM-Income Eligible visit, an authorized contractor will evaluate the energy performance of your home and provide on-the-spot energy-saving improvements. They will also create a customized plan for deeper energy-saving opportunities to help you save money and energy.
Qualifying households may receive a range of energy‑saving services and products across two visits to your home, including:
- Health and safety testing of your heating equipment
- On-the-spot improvements like faucet aerators, low-flow showerheads and advanced power strips
- No‑cost air sealing
- Up to 100% off a recommended insulation project
- Rebates to replace inefficient appliances ($500 for a refrigerator or $200 for a freezer)
- Rebates toward high-efficiency heating and cooling systems
- ENERGY STAR® certified replacement windows and more
These upgrades can also improve comfort, reduce drafts, and help with indoor air quality.
